Getting Started

LifeTree is a private, ad-free platform designed to help families stay connected and preserve what matters most. You can build your family tree, store photos and videos, share recipes, and document traditions in one secure space.

LifeTree is built only for families, not public audiences. A trusted environment where your memories, relationships, and heritage stay safe and within your control.

LifeTree exists to help families preserve and pass on what matters most- their stories, traditions, and memories. Over time, valuable pieces of family history like recipes, rituals, and personal experiences often get lost because there’s no dedicated place to keep them.

LifeTree provides a private, secure space where it’s not only about storing memories, but about helping families stay connected and understand where they come from.

LifeTree is designed for any family that wants to stay connected and preserve their heritage including nuclear families, extended joint families, grandparents preserving stories for grandchildren, parents building cultural awareness for children, and Indian diaspora families maintaining roots across countries. LifeTree works for families of all sizes and structures.

Download LifeTree from the App Store or Google Play and create a free account in minutes. Start building your family tree by adding basic details about yourself and your family, which allows the app to label the relationships. No prior knowledge is needed.

You can invite family members directly from your family tree by adding their phone number or email and sending a private invite link. Only people you personally invite can join your space because LifeTree does not have public search or discovery, ensuring your family network stays completely private. Once invited, family members can join on iOS or Android and start connecting instantly.

Yes, LifeTree supports several Indian regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali, along with global languages like English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, and Arabic. This makes it easier for family members, especially elders, to use the app comfortably in their preferred language.

Yes, LifeTree allows you to create and manage multiple family trees within a single account. For example, you can have separate trees for your maternal and paternal sides, or for your spouse’s family. Each tree can be managed separately, making it easy to organize different sides of your family.

No, LifeTree allows you to add unlimited family members to your family tree, even on the free plan. There is no restriction on the size of your family network, so you can include everyone across generations.

You can also create and manage multiple family trees, depending on your needs, with flexible options available across plans.

LifeTree is built specifically for this situation. Your children can:

  • Hear grandparents' stories in their own voice through audio and video Memories
  • Learn how your family celebrates each festival through documented traditions
  • See photos and timelines of family back home
  • Join live cooking sessions to learn family recipes from grandparents in real time
  • Interact with cousins and family through private chats and calls

The goal is that cultural identity is lived and experienced, not just explained.
